The Tune She Played

There was sadness in the tune she played.
Was she lost, or perhaps afraid?
Perhaps I should have longer stayed.
Would that have any difference made?
The leaving, though, cut like a blade--
And that's a pain I'd gladly trade.
So am I lost, or perhaps afraid?
Of this I am, the tune she played.

Thanks Cas. Fked up one line--one too many syllables. You know me, the meter man. Guess I'll edit. Hey, what was that song about angels--who sang it? I forgot. '14 was a beating, my dear. Hope '15 is better. Guess we'll see. Hope you're well and happy. xo
