The Truth Hurts

You feel it coming, don't you boy? I hate to say I feel it too Things were going oh so well But not all dreams come true Reality comes and goes But for the most part it is here And what it wants to give to me Is not what I hold dear It makes me picture you with her And fear it will happen again It makes me think of many things Like maybe how and when Reality pushes me from you And pushes you to her Reality is mean and cruel But it tells the truth, I’m sure
