The Truth About Psychics
The Truth About Psychics
By Elton Camp
How can people be so easy to deceive
That in “psychics” they will believe?
And somehow even fail to understand
Studies show trickery or sleight of hand
The Amazing Randi is one I much admire
For he sets the charlatans’ coat tails on fire
Hitler was a good example of a believer
But he found astrology to be a deceiver
Nostradamus’ rhymes are just silly stuff
Work only because they’re vague enough
If many general predictions I should make
The right is remembered, but not the mistake
It’s easy and I will right now show the way
Within a year there’ll be a bombing , I say
And an important person will be assassinated
The truth of these, in the news will be related
If I am proven correct in this little rhyme,
Gullible will say, “He knew ahead of time.”
But if my prophecy should happen to fail,
None will recall my quackery so they can rail
