The Truth About Loss
When it comes to loss you could say I have my masters degree.
So if you want the truth you should listen me.
Someone once said all wounds heal with time.
But maybe their wounds were somehow different than mine.
I've been healing these wounds for many years.
And today the pain still puts me in tears.
I prefer myself to not lead anyone on.
So I have to tell you the pain never ends from the moment they're gone.
When you lose someone you love it wounds your soul not your heart.
It's a wound you will have to cope with when your loved ones depart.
It never heals but we learn to move on with our lives.
If we didn't then these wounds would be one's that no one survives.
