The Truth

Pieces of mind
In sleek little rhymes
Appreciate the time
If you've been reading me through
A humble thank you to you
Only mumble what's true
When the lies are what's spewed
Demise will intrude
Don't be surprised when your shrewd
Cry with your crew
Ain't no eyes judging on you
Mesmerized at the truth
My generation
Might die waiting on you
Which ain't quite fair but its cool
We do
Ask
That you help with this soon
A nation of people who
Place their feet in others shoes
Men and women of black and blue
Your image is down, you knew
But show them the time and the truth
And in no time they'll be backing you
