The Truth

I NEVER UNDERSTOOD A THING INTIL I GOT OLDER.
WHY THEY FEARED ME.
WHY THEY HATED ME.
WHY THEY GAVE ME UP.
I KNEW THEY DIDN'T LOVE ME.
BUT I DIDN'T CARE.
I AM THE LONE WOLF ON THIS LONELY TRAIL.
EVERYONE SAW THE PAIN IN MY EYES.
AND THE TEARS FROM MY HEART.
I WAS BAD FROM THE START.
THEY KNEW IT ,I KNEW IT TO
BUT FORGET EM I DON'T NEED THEM.
LET THEM BURN.
I AM THE ONLY PASSENGER ON THIS RIDE TONIGHT.
NOONE CAN HIDE THE TRUTH,NO MATTER WHO YOU ARE.
I MADE OUT ON MY OWN JUST FINE.
MY HEART WAS ALWAYS BLACK AS STONE.
I DON'T NEED THEM.
I AM THE ONLY RIDER ON THIS ROLLER COASTER CALLED LIFE.

Ahhh...nobody is ever truly alone, and I don't think anybody is ever truly bad at heart, maybe misunderstood! This poem reminds me of my husband when I first met him, I hope one day you find love and peace, and if this was just a poem, then I hope your character finds love and peace.
