The Tree and the Spring Rain
I may be wet
My coat is soaked
Have no regret
Remember so
The days when I
Had lost it all
In winter time
Had no defense
Against the cold
In the silence
Of much snow fall.
See me now changed
See my green wear
See the blooms dance
In the winds, fair
Often watered
Won't hear complain
From my timbers
For I again
Have your eyes look
In my direction
For my outlook's
Your protection.
