The Treats
All the candy’s waiting.
I sniff that chocolate smell;
But Halloween is drifting by
And no one’s rung the bell.
M&M’s and Kit Kats
Will weave their magic spell,
With Krackels, Mr. Goodbars
And those other ones they sell.
I picked out all my favorites;
In that I do excel,
So if no trick-or-treaters come,
It’s really just as well.
