Sat on the train Watching the rain Stare through the glass Watch the world pass From platform one People step on The 12:42 Sky's turning blue Woman in front feel the train shunt looks over her book With a vacant eyed look Kid to the side Dreaming he's died Man at the back wearing a mac brown paper bag Round his bottle of Jack All sat together Watching the weather Travel the tracks Hours will pass Train rolling on Time slowing down Lifetime that's gone Not to return Or be lived again Travelling on Travelling on Travelling on ...

Cleverly written to a "clickerty-clack" rhythm, to tie in with the train theme... nice idea! A good, matter-of-fact kind of poem, observing everyday life in an everyday situation. Well done.
