The Tower Or New Babel
The tower had grown for thousands of years
Slicing deep through Earth’s stratosphere
Its roots were as deep as it was tall
Built in the hopes it would never fall
But the movement of Earth’s fiery heart
Had melted and tore its roots apart
Old goals remained as technology grew
Just as old had fallen so would the new
