The Too Good Bad Boy

My Alabama visit
and first delicious kisses from
a preacher's son

Dashed dreams when
his sojourn to MY city
included not me

written before I realized nette's contest had to be based on a picture, and that inspired my poem about having too many rocks in my brain!

still good, seems to be a common experience. Glad we all survived it. I wonder if young women are learning to protect themselves emotionally. I know I did not the first time, figured it out on the way home, but usually one bad experience, Mine were in Delaware. Still cringe. But glad we were safe and fearful due to lack of decent birth control, gave us distance and time to grow up.
