The Tiny Room
A cute and cozy cubicle
No lock on the door
All can enter and visit me--
and my many selves
Many come and go at leisure
noticing aspects and facets of me
and in turn see themselves better.
Even the poet within themselves;
as it is hard for a poet to be just one
person. And in poem writing one can
visit anywhere and have anyone come to visit.
And one can be whomever they choose to be.
Such lofty thoughts in the tiny room painted white
with a breeze coming through the blinds on a balmy day.
