The Time Traveler

If you could travel back though time
What are the things you'd change?
Would you undo those things were done
Or just simply rearrange?

Would you make it so your heart don't break
In relationships that just don't last?
What would you make your future
If you could travel to your past?

Would you carry words of wisdom
For those tomorrows not yet come?
Would you be a guiding light to those
Who's lost or troublesome?

Would you tell them of the things you've seen
As you visit yesterday?
Or you tell them of the things to come
Just to take their breath away?

Would you share an important message
Maybe of Love, Peace or Joy?
Or are you searching to seek revenge
On a life you would destroy?

We know not what tomorrow brings
And yesterday we've seen before
But the best we have is Deja vu
To feel our past once more
