The Time

I can recall a time when everything was okay when the pressures of life didn't affect me in any way I can remember a time when everything was alright when I never had to try to be the winner of this fight I remember a time when things seemed to be fine when from this world I had no desire to decline I can remember a time when I was actually happy when now in reality I'm just sad and snappy I can remember a time when saying no was an ease when all I do now, is things for other people to please I can remember a time when my house was my home when presently all my feet want to do is roam I can recall a time when friends could be found when in reality-they're a bit thin on the ground I can remember a time when peace reigned in my mind when at the moment certainty is hard to be defined I can recall the saying-burying your head in the sand when all I really need is a helping hand
