Beautifully written; true and deep. We only have to look around us at this time of year to witness that this applies to all life, not just we humans. Love, Nigel

Wow! A profound poem, especially remarkable given it is only two lines. I've already read it a few times. Much to ponder here. Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem with us and for your kind words regarding my tanka. Keep up the good writing! Karen

This is so wonderful. This is like footprints on the sands of time which the tide washes away. I can see life moving across the ocean deep to many destinations in a pioneering fashion seeking an eternal change. Great job! ~Joseph

Very true words Laura - I wanted to ask you I just entered my poem - "In Poetry" in your contest and I was wondering if you could let me know that since its more about all poets and less of a personal nature if it still fits with-in the guidelines - If you could let me know I would appreciate it - Great job on this write - God Bless
