The Ticking Clock

The ticking clock, it marks the time, A constant reminder of the passing chime. Its steady rhythm, an unchanging beat, A reminder of the moments that we meet. It ticks away the seconds, the minutes, the hours, A never-ending cycle, like the seasons and the flowers. It counts the days that come and go, And the memories that we make, both high and low. The ticking clock, it tells a story, Of moments lost, of love and glory. Of times we laughed, and times we cried, Of moments cherished, and goodbyes sighed. It ticks away the years, the decades, and more, As we journey through life's ever-changing score. It watches as we grow, and as we learn, And as we face the challenges that we must discern. The ticking clock, it never stops, As we search for meaning, and climb new mountain tops. It whispers to us, a message of hope, To keep on going, and never lose sight of the scope. It ticks away the milestones of our lives, The highs and lows, the triumphs and the strives. It reminds us that time is a gift, To cherish each moment, and give our hearts a lift. The ticking clock, it is a friend, A constant companion, from beginning to end. It reminds us that life is fleeting, And that each moment is worth repeating. So let us listen to the ticking clock, And take a moment to pause and take stock. To reflect on the moments that we hold dear, And the memories that we've made, both far and near. For the ticking clock, it marks our time, And in its ticking, we can find a rhyme. A rhythm that carries us through life, And guides us through moments of joy and strife. So let us embrace the ticking clock, And all the moments that it unlocks. For in its ticking, we can find meaning, And in its rhythm, we can find healing.
