The Thunder Rolls

The thunder rolls now, a spring rain pours from low solid gray clouds which wrap around in all directions, and fog banks between trees of the forest. Tender new life formed of different shades of green decorates the woods and homeplaces. As the rain drip-drops from the eaves, a bird's throaty varied call floats across the damp soggy air.
to the north floats a call that nearly matches.. love on the wing wind blows rain rain pours buckets poet exits porch
