The Thrill Is Not Gone

Whatever magic elixir did you add to my drink?
That the thrill of you in my sacred soul never shrinks?

Minutes of decades ago bubble and laugh so happily in my veins.
I close these deep brown eyes, thinking of you, like the finest of
champagnes.

I find myself sacredly dancing in your Orphean sexy arms.
My Eurydice heart joyous still by your Thessaloniki-charms.

Dimensions of my love for you seem to forever grow.
Tonight, to saunter under the Blue Moon's magic show!

We are the children of God's time and tides.
And in our daughter's eyes I see our DNA, through eternity, doth shine!

Love,
Panagiota

A beautiful poem of lasting love, that is what a marriage is all about, I'm so sorry about your loss, he passed on early if I am not mistaken in your marriage, but he knows and sees and feel that you still have him in your heart. Hugs and love Panagiota mou, Jennifer.

Greetings, Jennifer, mou...So far in miles, hey so close in my heart. We both experienced loss in different ways... I agree that he still knows. I live for today never for yesterday. And, love does not die. It's like an eternal ribbon forever flying in the sky. Love you! Panagiota xxxooo

Hi Panagiota, First I must say, when I say your title I thought of the song ( with a similar title as your poem)by BB King. However, as I began to read your poem, that’s where the similarity end. I found your poem to be romantic, passionate and loving. I’m glad you too found each other. Have a wonderful day:-) Alexis

Yes, I remember that song. I am so glad you read it! As you see it is unlike BB's song, whom I admire very much. Life can be very rich, if any of us is open to it.))) and trusting. Happy November 1st. Maybe wear a mask with a blinking red nose, like Rudoplh...lol hugs, Pangie xx
