The Thought of a Small Bairn

When youse wake up in the crack of dawn
A morning adventure
I shall be gone.

When youse reward a salubrious place
for those who can disappear without a trace
I’ll win it till my first kid is born.

When youse proffer out, in the sun
those who can play hide and seek a diamond trophy
I shall abandon others to go have all the fun.

And when I’m told to eat with a small spoon
both in the morn and in the afternoon
I’ll refuse.
