THE THINGS THAT THEY HAVE DONE

Terrifying are the things that they have done
Forcing one to live in the cold and rain often without sun.
The people who should have shown love and care
Have broken my bones and will with mind control to fare

Often times angels come to recuse me
From the depths of the pit of death's memory
And with every breath a God sent grace

Murdering what they thought they loved
Making a cracked piece of an innocent child’s heart
Now indifferent and freed from further harms
That maybe even the Divine cannot forgive
Destroying who God put into their arms.

Trusting in the scales of justice at night
comforted by God’s embrace and light
Unaware they may have been
But surely not, not guilty of their horrific sin.

Their evil tried once and for all for destruction
When unsuccessful retreated to an underworld of death
and then returned until the devastion was complete
dying in the shadows trying to recover force
non-resilient in the face of eternal resilient good.
