The Things I Love

The things I love.

God above all
My Bible
Family

Rain
Mountains
Horses
Birds
Wildlife
Walking
Swimming
Fresh air
Mountain streams
Country music

So why do I have to sit behind a desk for 8hrs a day?

HI Maxie, Everything holds a beauty which we gasp at sometimes but God gave us logic and by giving it to us expects us to do the right thing in life and by working we are able to give ourselves and our families the essentials that we need to live, and therefore to enjoy every day of our beautiful lives! Lovely words, God bless you and yours this and every Christmas - Jennifer

Thanks Jenni. I hope you had a great Christmas! Yeah I keep telling myself that we all have to work to be able to live and survive in this world. Though I must admit I prefer to do manual , physical work rather than sitting behind a desk. :)

The answer to your question lies in the very things you love. He allows you the freedom to enjoy these things by working at the job He provided you which earns you the financial wherewithal to seek the pleasure they bring. To God be the Glory! This is my observation and not meant to seem like a sermon, just an old man who has learned the lesson meant to inform. God Bless you. The poem is a great write. Keep on posting. I enjoyed reading it.

Thanks for your honest comment :) Yeah I know I have to work to be able to do the things I love. It just seems sometimes like an awfully long wait ! I know God has a beautiful plan for me. At the moment I have to wait. I now care for my Mom who has Alzheimer's, so after work I just go home and look after her. Im glad you enjoyed it :) Thank you
