The Thin Line

A thin line extends to divide faith and fear And so often the side you are on isn’t clear For despite every effort to keep holding on And despite every prayer and despite every song That you’ve used to inspire and keep faith burning bright Still the silence creeps in with the still of the night And you can’t help but wonder, “Will it really be fine” While the hours roll by… and you walk the thin line …Jeff Bresee
