The Thin Blue Moment - poetry wheel challenge

blue stood in the quiet like a shard of clarity, thin as breath on glass, catching the day in its single, lucid edge

This is such a striking and crystalline piece, Sara. You have captured so much vivid imagery in just three lines, using this brief free-verse form to create a beautifully still atmosphere. The simile comparing the color blue to "breath on glass" is wonderfully delicate, contrasting perfectly with the sharpness of the "lucid edge." A masterful, quiet moment perfectly rendered!
