The Test

Judge my acts, Not my color. When judging use facts, Not prejudice because I’m a brother. Then maybe I’ll believe, “This land is my land”. Maybe then I’ll achieve, Instead of living life damned. I shouldn’t have to go to a prep school, To get the same education that you do When I say “You”, you know who. The ones who tell me to vote, Hoping that I don’t The ones who tell me “Just do it” Making sure I can’t get though it. Maybe then I’ll dream that American dream, Maybe then I’ll believe that I’m part of the team. All we need is equal, no more no less. We will handle the rest, Then we can pass the test.
