The Temple
There you are standing so tall
yet when I’m next to you I don’t feel small.
I am uplifted strengthened and edified
even though in life I’m tried.
Through the doors I walk
and with my Heavenly Father I talk.
Inside your walls the veil’s so thin
and I feel the Holy Spirit enter in.
Families can be together forever
and for me it’s an eternal endeavor.
I’m going there someday.
Then, a worthy Priest holder will look across and say-
with you I’ll always stay.
Together we won’t ever stray
from the path leading to Celestial Glory
and years from now we can tell our children this story
because we were married in God’s Holy Temple.
