The Telephone

Sighing, she watches the phone,
wishing someone would call her -
once, it hardly stopped ringing
and she would answer, sighing -
but the silence is worse...

As they get older and friends have passed on the phone becomes quiet. I called mom everyday and she was lucky to have many call her to break up her day. Hope mum is doing okay. love phyl

Hello Jack Horne, yes i understand how she feels. sometimes the phone is too quiet. but she can pick up the phone and call someone for a chat. Enjoy your day my friend. /Darlene/
