The Teens

you tell me to think before i act
your quick to point out all the things i lack
you tell me what to do and what to say
why cant you save it for another day-ay-ay

you tell me stop wishing my life away
you tell me to do it someone elses way
you tell me to be what you want me to be
but unlike you i just want to be free

i'm grumpy, i'm sloppy well that is just me
your bored and lonely but i'm not the key
well welcome back to the teens
i cant wait until i turn eighteen

You think of me as i sign of concern
when i spend the money, that ive just earned
you say im difficult but that's just not true
only because i dont want to be like you

you suck the life out of all my fun
shoving me into the shade and out of the sun
you keep trying to climb over my fence
using words and actions that make no sense

i'm grumpy, i'm sloppy and that is just me
your trapped and lonely but i am not the key
well welcome here back to the teens
i cant wait until i turn eightenn

you cant take back whats already been said
so bury the past that is long since dead
this is my life and this is my dream
you wont tear apart at the seams

so give up, give in it's never going to work
so leave me alone, because your making me go beserk
so give up and give in, because your never going to win!
