The Tears Slide Down

Like two strangers
in the night.
Lying awake,
with sleep being
elusive.
Her tears,
slide silently down
her face,
upon her pillow.
Her heart, breaking,
as if, he ripped it into.
Like two strangers,
going separate ways,
with no time,
spent together.
He must think, she’s blind,
to his deception,
and sneaking around.
To her, it’s quite clear,
as her tears, again
slide down.
