The Tear Drop Man
Spare a pittance for the tear drop man
Who's hat is out so he
Can tie his arm and shoot a bit
And dream the sweetest dreams
A sandwich curbs his appetite
But a dollar would do more
All his traumatic memories
Would fade if he could score
Spare a pittance for the tear drop man
Whos father rests in peace
The tear drop man wouldn't idly watch
His mother get the beats
A needle and a puddle
And a drop too much in him
A memory of his grandmas hand
It used to raise his chin
Spare a pittance for the teardrop man
A flower where he lies
To cover up his terror
And the single tear he cried
