The Tabby Cat

she prowls around the garden, she controls the nest
no need to worry because she knows she is the best
the world to her is a hunting ground
you know she will be back around
naps in the day and at night she plays
for this is how she spends her days
her eyes shine as bright as owls
fearful prey when she is on the prowl
watch out world for she is back
and courage is something she doesn't lack
she belongs to no one, she is on her own
for everywhere to her is her home
