The System

He never gets his justification,
The system is corrupt.
No helping hands or resuscitation,
The system is backwards.

He never gets a break; no luck,
The system is broken.
Like leaches, all they do is suck,
The system is damaged.

It seems he only lives to work and die,
The system is rigged.
The good always suffer because it’s all a lie,
The system is useless.

It leaves him in the dark; a broken man,
The system is worthless.
He’s not alone; we’ll do what we can,
The system is defeated.
