The Sympathizing Tear

I am thankful for the sympathizing tear Spontaneously running down my cheek Shed for those who daily live with fear, I am thankful for the sympathizing tear Flowing from a saddened heart sincere, Let no one believe for crying I am weak I am thankful for the sympathizing tear Spontaneously running down my cheek. written November 26, 2021

Nothing like "the saddened heart sincere" - I wish we all had one of those.

Such an empathetic feeling I hope I never lose. Me, too.

Men are not expected to cry, I have never understood why, This is so. Let that tear go. Strong emotion and compassion are felt with the shedding of a tear. feelings that are felt by both men and women.

Shirley, I never could understand that myself. Tears often bring great relief to the troubled soul.
