The Sunshining Day

The fiery river is flowing, flowing, flowing The ashes, ashes, ashes are glowing I’ve been through so many oceans to find you Then, you disappear out of the blue, blue, blue Every single day, I feel this dismay Haven’t seen the sunshine, shine Since the day you’ve gone away I wish you were mine, mine, mine We had so much fun in the sun... Every single day...every single day... The sunshining day, I pray, will stay... I pray, it will stay, please don’t stray The fiery river is simply flowing My heart of desire is growing Can you cease the beating of the drums in the dead of night? You’re my emerald compass to lead me away from fright Every single day, I feel this dismay Haven’t seen the sunshine, shine Since the day you’ve gone away I wish you were mine, mine, mine We had so much fun in the sun... Every single day...every single day... The sunshining day, I pray, will stay... I pray, it will stay, please don’t stray I’ve been through the ups and downs lately Out of my control and out of my reach frankly Anxiety has been my downfall since day 1 Waiting for the sun and the day to begun I’ve been trying hard not to feel this way, But it gets harder and harder each day... Every single day, I feel this dismay Haven’t seen the sunshine, shine Since the day you’ve gone away I wish you were mine, mine, mine We had so much fun in the sun... Every single day...every single day... Every single day, I feel this dismay Haven’t seen the sunshine, shine Since the day you’ve gone away I wish you were mine, mine, mine We had so much fun in the sun... Every single day...every single day... Every sunshining day, I pray, you’ll sway In the sunshine of a happy-go-lucky day
