The Sun's Face

The Sun selects her cheeriest face
   when heaviest rains abate

There's nothing worse
   than daylight gray

as with bated breath
   here on Earth
      the Sun's face
         ~ we do await

Thanks for seeing what I envisioned in this poem, Joseph. Deeply appreciated. Have a sunny tomorrow now! ~ Gershon (10:25 p.m., Chicago time)
