The Sun Is Shining

The sun is shining!

By The new mad Author

The sun is shining, oh so bright.
Someone’s heard my news alright.
That must be why the sun is out.
Of that there can be no doubt.

Today, the specialist said to me.
My brain’s CT scan seems healthily.
I mean for someone of my age.
Its shrunken state is all the rage.

If it shrinks anymore you’ll see.
My brain cell will be like a pea.
Shrivelled up not much in size!
As it is not, I’ll shout in surprise.

Now as my brain cell is fit and ready to go.
I’ll let it continue with its flow.
Of instructions from brain cell to hand with pen.
So I can write my prose again.

Not as in repeating myself twice.
As that would surely not be nice.
No, just a few words, I will write.
To prove my brain cell is alright.

And on that note, I’ll say good night.
At least my brain cell got that right
