The Sun Is Shining

The sun is shining,
it's a beautiful fall day
but the air is cold.
Winter's not far away.

My geraniums are still
fully in bloom
but not for much longer
as a weather change looms.

I love the fall,
the most colourful season.
It's much too short
and winter's the reason.

Enjoy fall's beauty.
It won't last long
In the blink of an eye
it will all be gone.
