The Sun Is In the Sky (A Christmas Poem)

What a lovely day it is
The sun is in the sky.
The wind has stopped its howling,
I feel very much alive.

I gaze out of my window
It’s peaceful and serene.
I look up at his smiling face
And say, "Where have you been?"

His smile gets wider, brighter
The clouds all disappear;
He says," I’ve just been hiding
But now I’ve reappeared.

"I’ll brighten up your garden
And the gently flowing stream;
With a myriad of colours
That will make your life a dream.

"I’ve stopped by for a moment
To bring you some good cheer,
to wish you a Merry Christmas
and a Happy, Bright New Year."

Oh! How so fine a write! A personal relationship with nature and here, the sun in particular. Very inspiring! Thanks for sharing another gem. Caroline.
