The Sun

Dear Lord I want to thank you for the sun
Without it the world would not have begun
For we need the sun in order to survive
Without it planet earth would not be alive

I like the sun for the beauty it brings
It grows our food, trees, among other things
It gives us warmth, sunrises, sunsets and joy
Brings endless happiness to each girl and boy

The sun reminds me of you lord, for you are the light
Giving hope to us all, every day and every night
The brightness of each brand new day reminds me of your love
Smiling down on each one of us from heaven up above

You two work beautifully together! My 10 year old g'daughter and I often collaborate when she asks for help in her projects. It's fun and I am so pleased that she likes poetry! Hugs // paul

Hey Cecilia, stopped by for a visit and found this wonderful tribute to our Heavenly Father for one of His most treasured gifts to us - the Sun. I am even more elated to see the loving care you have given your son in helping him to grow in the knowledge of our Creator and His Creation; and also in helping him to grow in his faith and love for others. God bless you both! Neva
