The Summer Season

When summer is approaching,
The children burst out laughing.
They long for cold drinks and ice-creams
which of all food is their supreme.
When exams are over you don't have
to stop long to see their fun-
If you ask them to study a little
they will at once run.
Laugh and sing and attend parties:
For this is the time to participate
in all activities-
One day through the end of the door peeps
the progress report card,
Children are pale and white and
dumb stuck!
When mummy finds the result very interesting
Children get some hope and feel life exciting
When the holidays are over the children
in the blankets cover.
Hurrying for their school, to return to
their daily rule.
