The Suicide

The tears silently
Flow from her eyes
And no one is here
To hear her goodbyes
She seals up the letters
She's written to friends
And hopes that today
Her life finally ends
She's tried this so many
Times in her past
She prays that this time
It will be her last.
She's lost and she's broken
She's falling apart
She pulls the trigger
Of the gun to her heart
Her breath slowly stops
As she falls to the floor
Her life slips away
As she walk through death's door
This time she's succeeded
In ending her pain
She's finally happy
She won't hurt again.

Saskia, the emotion of your writes are so real. Sadly so many suicides. A desperate moment…one unimaginable. Thank you for being real.
