The Strings To My Heart
To run my fingers along your neck
To hear your musical voice
To glide across your strings divine
The music of my choice
The dancing bow, the finger moves
The music wings its way through time
Never ending music
My heart sings with it sublime
To follow the voice on its journey
To feel every note through a fingertip
The beat in harmony with a heartbeat
Musical harmony with God’s maple tree.
Music dances with the angels above
Ribbon of horse hair stroke strings of gut
Harmonious sounds fill the atmosphere
The ribbon glides masterfully with love.
The joy to swipe the bow beyond
Four strings to make them sing and cry
The heart light or full of gaiety
Happiness and tears au fond.
