The Streets

Born again I've been givin a chance to live again.
Now I walk the streets tryin not to give into sin.
I try to walk with my head held high but truth is
i'm fighting back tears for the ones that have died.
My city is so full of killing, fighting like its a war but
noone is winning. What happen to the days when
fighting was fare? When we fought for respect and
it ended there?Gangs use to fight for peace at rallies,
now they run the streets killing friends and families.
Youngings carrying heat cuz they got beef on every
block,a hand on a lollipop and another on a glock.
Death is knocking on their door, whether they want it
or not!Greed has taken over, ppl no longer have a heart
or concious cuz the devil has taken over,no more good,
juz the devil on their shoulder....
