The Stranger's

We were asked to do a good deed.
The people we met were in need.
Three kids they had we had to feed.
Give to the needy have no greed.

They had no job there was no money.
Kids are sick their noses are runny.
Life was hard and nothing was funny.
Their life now was as sweet as honey.

We got them a job now lifes so sweet.
They pay their rent and buy food to eat.
The kids now have shoes on their feet.
Good deed for a stranger on the street.

Be kind friend and open your heart.
Let a stranger have a new start.

Congratulations, Teresa, on your placement in my contest. I always judge them blind, without knowing who the authors are. So, when I come here to see who won, I get a wonderful surprise. It is so nice to see you here among the winners. Thank you for supporting my contest...and for your patience in waiting for the results. Lovingly, Dane Ann
