The Stranger In the Mirror

From where did you come
wrinkled with hair turning gray?
Please, just go away !

See every day more wrinkles in my mirror and my hair is now gray all over! Feel with you!!! Enjoyed your Senryu, Sue! Thank you for your comments and if you'd like, read some more of my recent poems. Have a great week ahead...Gert

Just dim the lightbulb and step back another inch from the mirror with each passing year, Sue. That's what an elderly lady told me when I was still a teen. It works and we stay young in our hearts forever! Love, Carolyn

Not much one can do about those wrinkles but appreciate them. As far as the grays, I wisk them away with a little die. Like the humor in this one. Nice tribute to Daver. I see he enjoyed it too. Keep that pen flowing. Thank you for your kind comment. Karen

Great poem, it's kinda funny, but not for those who look themselves in the mirror and find out their getting old! Emily
