The Stranger
THE STRANGER
A stranger had come to Galilee
it seemed he had mystical powers.
Crowds followed wherever he went,
listened to him teach by the hours.
He taught them of the love of God,
His words not forgotten to be.
Nor all the miracles he performed,
lepers cleansed, and blind made to see.
This stranger showed much compassion
when healing the sick and the lame.
He taught with such authority
for Jesus was this strangers name.
He became a stranger no longer,
as His fame spread throughout the land.
He was the Son of God who'd bring
salvation, as His Father planned.
The Bible has recorded His life
and the reason He came to earth.
To give His life a ransom for all
So man could receive new birth.
He died, but rose up from the grave,
Though still has the scars He bore.
Receive him as your Saviour and Lord,
He'll be a stranger to you no more.
