The Story of a Leaf

I'm a leaf,
I grow on trees,
No matter what, I'm always green.

In the breeze,
I swing with ease,
And at the fallen old ones, tease,

But when I'm old ,
And cannot hold,
I fall down with the others, cold.

And then the greens,
They swing with ease,
And at my face, the fools, they tease!

Oh, I'll lay here,
Awaiting dear,
And when they finally fall, I'll cheer!!
