The Stoner’s Reality

Reality’s heavy, but I roll it tight,
A joint in hand, my soul feels light.
I float away, no chains, no fear,
The world’s cruel voice can’t reach me here.

O wait what’s this strange new feeling?
I’m hungry, man, the taste is healing.
Oh sh*t, am I talking to myself?
I laugh so hard, it’s funny as hell.

It’s just a herb from Mother Nature,
My peace, my cure, my sweet creator.
She grows the leaf, I burn the flame,
And all my problems fade to shame.

But in an hour, reality bites,
That ugly feeling creeps through the night.
I hate it, man, it drags me down,
So I roll another smoke my crown.

I laugh at shadows, I laugh at pain,
Even my hunger’s a silly game.
Problems vanish in clouds I blow,
I’m high, I’m free, the truth I know.

This world is cruel, but I don’t care,
I bought my peace in smoky air.
A stoner’s truth, my pitch, my song,
Buy this freedom you can’t go wrong.
