He stands behind a large tree A silhouette in the dark Patiently waiting and watching Until she appears in sight He is mesmerised by her beauty He knows soon she will be his His heart races with excitement His and his only……as long as he lives He watches her intently Until she disappears Puts the binoculars in is backpack With all his new souvenirs …..!

Hi Deb, It's quite creepy and realistic. My niece had a stalker who broke into her home eventually. Fortunately, she was one of the lucky ones and he was caught.

Strange I did not read the title and I judged the man as a stalker. You wrote a brilliant poem. Pity you find such stalkers around.
