The Stalk, the Fear, the Take

What a long day, so sore are my feet. I feel so worn out, oh am I beat. I see you've returned home and you think you're all alone. Think I'll skip, brushing my teeth. I just want to lay down and get some sleep. Up in this tree, I have such a great view. You don't see me, but I see you. All of my worries, all gone for the day. Time to lay down, time to drift away. Just checked my watch, it says ten o' clock. By the way your back door. You left it unlocked. You know I think I'll sleep in till noon. Almost ready. I'll see you soon. What was that noise? I was almost in a dream. I wonder what your voice, sounds like when you scream. It was probably nothing, nothing at all. You left the phone off the hook, now no help you can call. Whatever it was, it's all gone away. Time to get back, to resting my eyes. You think everything is okay, but you're in for quite the surprise. What was that? No, no, there's no way at all. I'm getting closer. I'm just out in the hall. I bet it was nothing, just nothing again, that sound I'll just ignore. I bet that you panic, when you reach your end. Mmm I hear you breathing, as I press against the door. Why does my door, sound like it's creaking? I'm ready for more than just standing here peaking. This old house, just so full of noise. When you spoke out, I sensed fear in your voice. I need to get to bed, now almost eleven o' clock. Here's something for you. Knock, knock, knock. Oh dear god, "Who's out there?' Oh yes yes, that gave you quite the scare. It's so dark, and I'm too far from my light. My, my, my, you've sure pulled your blanket tight. It gives me quite the delight, to see such a sight. Now you needn't put up, much of a fight. I feel washed away, a trembling sweat with a chill. It's going to be so much fun, to watch your blood spill. The door, it swung open but, but the coast looks clear. Now out from the shadows, I shall appear. My body, what's happening? I can't move I can't breathe! The things you never thought, I'm going to make you believe. The shadow's thudded footsteps, their creeping towards me. I've sharpened my blade. Here, do you see? I can't even speak. This lump in my throat, it's clogging it whole. All I can do now is break down, I've lost control. I'll try to choke out, just one word. "Why?" "Shh, don't cry. We're gonna have fun, before you die."
