The Stain Upon My Heart
A broken heart
Has been the cost
The price I’ve paid
For the loves I’ve lost
Suddenly…
A new love enters the scene
Slowly becoming
My hopes and dreams
Will her love fade
Like promises made
Before…
The past
The pain
The stain
Upon my heart
Dry all the tears
Bury all the fears
Try again to trust
To find love again
I must
Escape from the sorrows
Put faith in tomorrows
Love.
